1. Introductory provisions

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”) govern the rights and obligations between the company PLC Express as the seller and its customers (hereinafter referred to as the “buyer”) in the field of sale, purchase, and disposal of industrial equipment, machines, production lines, and automation technology. 1.2. These terms and conditions are binding for all contractual relationships between the seller and the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Orders and conclusion of contract

2.1. Orders may be placed electronically (by email or contact form), by phone, or in person. 2.2. An order becomes binding upon confirmation by the seller. 2.3. The seller reserves the right to refuse an order without stating a reason.

3. Prices and payment terms

3.1. Prices are stated excluding VAT, unless otherwise specified. 3.2. The buyer is obliged to pay the price in advance (by pro forma invoice), cash on delivery, or according to agreed conditions. 3.3. The seller reserves the right to change prices in the event of significant market changes.

4. Delivery terms

4.1. The place of delivery is the address specified by the buyer. 4.2. The delivery time depends on product availability and will be agreed individually. 4.3. Transport costs are borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed. 4.4. Upon receipt of the goods, the buyer is obliged to inspect their condition. Any damage must be reported immediately to the carrier and the seller.

5. Warranty and complaints

5.1. No warranty applies to sold used equipment unless otherwise stated in writing. 5.2. In the case of the sale of new equipment, the statutory warranty applies in accordance with the Commercial Code or an individual contract. 5.3. Complaints must be submitted in writing, including a description of the defect and, if applicable, photo documentation. 5.4. The seller is obliged to respond to a complaint within 30 days.

6. Purchase and disposal of equipment

6.1. When purchasing equipment, the seller will prepare a price estimate, which may be adjusted after a physical inspection. 6.2. Payment for the purchased equipment is made after takeover and verification of the equipment. 6.3. In the case of disposal, the seller ensures environmentally sound waste processing in accordance with applicable legislation. A certificate of disposal can be issued upon request.

7. Personal data protection

7.1. The buyer’s personal data are processed in accordance with GDPR and the Privacy Policy published on the seller’s website.

8. Final provisions

8.1. These GTC are valid and effective as of 22 May 2025. 8.2. The seller reserves the right to amend the GTC at any time. Changes become effective upon publication on the website. 8.3. Legal relationships are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. 8.4. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to resolve the matter primarily amicably. If this is not possible, the competent court according to the seller’s registered office shall decide.
